What things should the Professional take into account regarding the User before carrying out a session?
The Professional must ensure that the User has good coverage of 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi data on their Smartphone.
SMS link to start the session: The professional must notify the User that they will receive an SMS on their Smartphone. It is possible that they have deactivated notifications and badges that alert the User when a new SMS message has been received, so the Professional must tell the User to pay attention to new SMS messages in the messaging application of their Smartphone.
If the User has a Smartphone with an Android operating system, the Professional must inform them to open the link sent by SMS from the Google Chrome application. Almost all Android devices do it by default, although in certain cases such as with Samsung devices, the link is opened by default in the manufacturer's own browser. The User should be asked what device they have and given the case that their Smartphone opens the link with a browser other than Google Chrome, tell them to copy the link sent by SMS and paste it in the Google Chrome browse to successfully open it.
If the User has a Smartphone with an iPhone (iOS) system, they will have to open the link sent by SMS from the Safari web browser. All iPhones do this by default, unless the User has intentionally changed their settings.
Connection interruption causes:
If during the session the User receives a phone call, the connection will be cut.
If during the session the User is connected to a device using Bluetooth technology, the connection will be cut or will not start.
File storage: Neither the videos nor the photos taken will be stored on the User's device. They are only stored on the Professional's computer.
Focus and image quality: In order to obtain sharp and good quality photographs, in addition to the fact that the client's camera must be of high quality, the Professional must ensure that the User keeps the camera still before capturing the image. The quality of the photography and other images depend a lot on how still the User's camera is before taking the image.
Zoom: The zoom functions of most Smartphone cameras are not optical but digital. The User should not worry about zooming in from the Smartphone, nor the Professional with their PC or Mac, since the quality will be identical to performing the subsequent zoom on the photograph or video after they are taken. The only useful option to improving the shot is to approach or distance the Smartphone from the object or area that needs to be analyzed. Furthermore, the ambient lighting and how still the User holds the camera.
The Professional can choose which camera to view from the User's smartphone while not recording.
The User will see an indicator on their screen when the Professional records the session.
